Blue hadal provides maritime courses for those who aspire to be an officer at sea. Blue hadal is in partnership with the one of the globally renowned maritime schools at Vietnam India. Training:

Essential training for all seafarers.

The standards of training certification & watch keeping ( STCW ) for seafarers basic safety training course is the legal minimum requirement for anyone looking for commercial work to board vessels over 24 meters, including Super yachts & Cruise ships.

As well as four core modules, the proficiency in security awareness module is now included as part of the course with no additional cost, though it is not essential requirement of the course as of 1st January 2014.

Continual practical assessment with theory based examinations.

Duration: 3 months
Placement on Ship: 12 months contract on every year renewal basis.
Category Of Ship : 2000 grt to 15000 grt & above Salary on board: 200 USD monthly with the increment of 100 USD per month with renewal of contract every year.

Eligibility :

1- 18 years old, with an Indian passport & Class 10 pass certificate for Seaman.

2-18 years old, with an Indian passport & Class 12 pass certificate for Deck Cadet.

3-MMD Approval Medical with Eye test certificate fit for sea. (Height/weight).

4-Proof of date of birth/school mark sheet.


The STCW Basic Safety Training course modules:

  • 1.Personal Survival Techniques (A-VI/1-1)
    Essential sea survival training to deal with a range of emergency situations includes the launch of a life raft, using safety equipment, preparation for sea survival & use of rescue organizations.
  • 2. Fire Fighting & Fire Prevention (STCW A-VI/1-2)
    Identifies the different types of fire that can occur on board & how to prevent them from starting. Practical training includes use of firefighting equipment & breathing apparatus various types & sizes of fires including in smoke filled enclosed spaces.
  • 3.Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)
    A mixture of theory & practical sessions on how to respond to the most common emergencies on board. You will learn CPR, different Bandaging methods, how to move a patient & how to improvise when there is no equipment available.
  • 4. Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (A-VI/1-4)
    An introduction to accident prevention & safety procedures including alarms & signals. It also covers your rights at work, employment conditions & work practices such as safe working, pollution prevention & relations with others on board.
  • 5. Proficiency in Ship Security (A-VI/6-1)
    Provides knowledge, understanding & proficiency to personnel intending to work on ships who will not have any designated security duties.
